Dr. George "Bud" Smith III

Veterinarian/Practice Owner

George L. Smith, III also known to his clients as "Bud" or "Doc" is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  Dr. Smith is a graduate of Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine and has worked as a veterinarian for 24 years. Dr. Smith has dedicated his life to providing high quality and compassionate care to pets and their owners in the Baton Rouge community for 21 years.  He has been married to his lovely wife Mary Lynn for 30 years and they have two wonderful daughters, Laura Catherine and Sarah Grace. He has a few other additions to the family, a cat named Oliver and a golden retriever named Rosie (who are very spoiled). Dr. Smith enjoys spending time in the outdoors, especially  at "the farm" on his tractor.


Dr. Bob Apple


Dr. Robert Apple is a native of Dardanelle Arkansas and attended the University of Arkansas for his undergraduate education in the fall of 1978 to the spring of 1981. Dr. Apple earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in the spring of 1985. He has owned several Veterinary  Hospitals in the Baton Rouge and Denham Springs area and practiced veterinary  medicine including Emergency and Critical Care for the last 34 years.  He and his wife Jayne Apple C.P.A. of Apple Guerin and Company have been married for 34 years and have two sons, Robby Apple C.P.A. and Brian Apple C.P.E. who also live in Baton Rouge. Dr. Apple also has three Deutsch-Drahthaar dogs and enjoys training and hunting with Ada, Maddie and Ella. Dr. Apple is an avid outdoorsman and also enjoys golf, fishing and time with family.


Dr Allison Gordon


Dr. Allison Gordon was born and raised in Lafayette Louisiana.  She now lives in Baton Rouge with her five rambunctious dogs Macie, Ani, Roux, Pup Pup, and Ciara.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Louisiana State University and went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010.  She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Baton Rouge Veterinary Medical Association.   She has special veterinary interests in small animal medicine and surgery, dermatology, small animal rehabilitative medicine, as well as ultrasonography. Dr. Gordon enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, running, reading a good book, listening to music, and going to the movies.
